Who is your hero?
Today Kieran was telling me who his hero is, and it got me thinking about who I would pick for my hero. It is actually a really hard to think of someone who I would class as my hero and to think of the reasons why a particular person would be a hero figure to me.
So I have been thinking about who I would choose, and I think I would have to pick two, my mum and dad! They have always been there for me, they have been great role models and they have taught me soo much over my life.
My parents have shown me what it means to have a wonderful happy family. They have lived in a way that shows faith, determination, courage and confidence - often when underneath it life may have been harder or more challenging then they have shown.
They have taught me what perseverance is, and how to enjoy life and what it gives you at that point in time. It is through themĀ I have developed my love of travelling and experiencing new places and my desire to always find out more about the world. Continue reading ‘Who is your hero?’
I have had a very up and down day today and I am coming towards the end of it and I am shattered, because of how varied my emotions have been today.
Emotions are very strange things sometimes and on a day like today I really cannot understand them at all! At some points today I have been fine, getting along just like normal doing my work or whatever. At other times I have felt soo down that I don’t want to talk to anyone, don’t want to eat or do much in particular and then half an hour later i’ll be fine again. I’m finding it all very confusing!! I now have photo’s on here too, thanks Kieran
I am soo bored of lesson planning now! Ah well, only got 6 weeks of placement to get through then I’ll be done. It will be better when I actually have a job and don’t have to do loads of extra work just to keep college happy!
I thought I would do a quick update on everything that has been going on in the last couple of weeks, its been a busy time!!
I can’t believe I have only been engaged for just over a month but so many of the big decisions about the wedding have already been sorted and things are coming together very well!! We owe a lot of this to my mum and dad who have been having lots of ideas and being really great on organising things in York when we cannot be there. Continue reading ‘100 days to go!!!’
Today I handed in my last essay for this course, it feels great to finally have it handed in. I also went to my last lecture, yay!!
Tomorrow I start the visits for my final placement, and then properly start there in a couple of weeks. Once that placement has finished I will be done!!! I can’t wait to finish the course, although i still have no job, heh.
