I thought I would do a quick update on everything that has been going on in the last couple of weeks, its been a busy time!!

I can’t believe I have only been engaged for just over a month but so many of the big decisions about the wedding have already been sorted and things are coming together very well!! We owe a lot of this to my mum and dad who have been having lots of ideas and being really great on organising things in York when we cannot be there.

So yeah - we have quite a bit sorted now, of the big things anyway! We now have a vicar, church, reception venue, car, photographer and flowers!! I have also ordered my dress!!! I really wish I could show you a picture, but it wouldn’t be a surprise on the big day if I did and I want to keep it a surprise! I went to Leeds with my mum and sister’s last weekend and we had a very productive day - we also managed to get their bridesmaid’s dresses which are lovely and they will look great in them.

Another thing we have sorted is the invitations. We made them ourselves and they look really really good! (I say we made them, I really mean Kieran made them, on his computer which can do just about anything!)

Lots of things are getting sorted and in half term we are going up to York to talk to the hotel and the vicar about various arrangements.

As the days go by I am getting more and more excited. I am so looking forward to the actual day which will be fantastic, but more than that, I am looking forward to being very happily married, settling down and really getting on with life!!

Within the next 100 days there is still a lot to do though. I am trying to get as much planning do for my final placement which starts on Monday. I can’t wait for the next 7 weeks to finish and then I will be done with uni again and I get to graduate again, in Lincoln Cathedral this time! We will also be going to New Wine, where me and Kieran met, i can’t wait for that week, it should be really good fun. I just hope it isn’t as wet as it was last year!

I also need to find a job and we need to find somewhere to live - so many decisions to make!! We went to Ikea this week and it was fun going round and being able to buy lots of house things we need, now we need a house to put them in!!
