Hello! Just to let you know that Kieran and I have set up a new joint website and it has a very cool name!
The website is called Kieromi.
Other news is that I am still jobless
I have applied for loads now but so far I have got no-where. Ah well, all I can do is keep applying and evntually something will come up soon. I hope so as I am getting really bored filling in forms and not doing much else. I do help out at a local school for a couple of days a week and am on the supply teachers register here in York but have so far only done 2 days. Kieran does have a job though, just outsie York and he is enjoying it so far which is great.
So yeah, visit the new website, we will start to get it updated very soon!
Nxx
Hello!!! Yep, I am Mrs Jones now and I like it lots and lots
!
The wedding was amazing and we were soo lucky with the weather. It rained pretty much every day during the week before the wedding, and afterwards too. However, on the actual day it was lovely and sunny and didn’t rain at all! Everything went so well and to plan on the day and I enjoyed every minute of it! It was lovely to see so many of our friends and family there too, thank you to all of you who came and helped us celebrate our day!

We then went for our honeymoon which was lovely and relaxing. We went to a little farm in the middle of no-where - somewhere between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. We read lots, watched lots of films and went on lots of walks in the countryside. Continue reading ‘Mrs Jones!’
Today it is exactly a month until Kieran and I get married!! The last 3 and a bit months since we got engaged has gone sooo quick so i’m sure the last month will go nice and fast too! I’m getting really excited, especially as all the plans are coming together well and I’m not feeling nervous (yet!).
Last night we finished the table seating plans, after quite a few versions and ideas! Doing the table plans was harder then I thought as there were loads of little changes we had to make along the way but they are all done now!
I had an interview for supply teaching in York today so hopefully i’ll be accepted onto the team and then when school starts again I’ll get some work. It all depends on whether Kieran gets a job first and whether that will be in Lincoln or not. We still don’t know where we will end up, but it will all become clear in the end.
Right, bed time for me as tomorrow I have to finish sorting out all the camping stuff for New Wine which starts on Friday and I’m very excited about it!!! The weather has been good this week so lets hope it continues!
I went to Leeds today for a fitting of my wedding dress and it is beautiful! The only thing that really needed altering was the length as it is too long at the moment. Other than that, it is lovely and it will be just great when it is all altered! I can’t wait to wear it properly on the big day which really isn’t long away now!!!
We also went to see a balloon lady as we are going to have balloons at the reception so it will look exciting in the room!
Other things for the wedding all seem to be coming together well, I just hope all the little parts of the organisation come together well on the day. I’m sure they will really.
Its New Wine in 4 days now and I’m sooo excited! The weather has been a bit better in the last couple of days so hopefully that will continue through next week when we are actually camping.
No news on the job hunt for me at the moment, something will come up at some point, somewhere but right now I don’t know!!!
I have done it, I got through my PGCE and I am now a Newly Qualified Teacher!!
I am now back home in York which is lovely and it will make sorting wedding stuff out in the next few weeks easier. It was strange to leave Lincoln yesterday. Although I have only been there a year, it was a home for a year and I will have loads of good memories from living there for the last year.
We went to church this morning, to hear our Banns of Marriage being read for the first time. Hearing them being read out in the church made the wedding seem even closer and more real!
One of the songs we sang in church today had the lyrics ‘…What a faithful God have I…’ and listening to the words made me think about how true that really is. This past year has been really mixed, some times when I have really not enjoyed the course and found it really hard and other times when it has been very fun and exciting. Through all the experiences of the past year one thing I know is that God has been faithful and things have worked out when they have needed to.
I’ll be taking the words of that song into the next days and weeks too. There is still a lot we need to get sorted - jobs, a house and various wedding stuff, but I know things will work out just as they are meant to and everything will be alright in the end!
For the next few weeks I’ll be in between here and Lincoln sorting various things out, and then it will be New Wine and I really hope it won’t rain as much as it has done this weekend!
Its only 48 days to go now till the wedding!!!! I can remember when I wrote on here that it was 100 days to go and that has gone sooo quick so i’m sure the next 6 weeks will speed by too!!
I have been on placement in Nottingham this week, which has meant about 4 hours travelling each day to get to school and back, not great!
Other than being on placement, I have been filling in what seems like endless job application forms and getting no responses back yet.
On the wedding side of things, we are at the list stage at the moment, making lots of lists of what needs doing and stuff like that, but all is good! I am going wedding dress shopping next week, I am very excited!!
